The Bitter Endeavor

In this past year, besides watching carefully what I buy in vitamins, supplements, etc., for I do buy some, I have been using up the scads of vitamins, etc.

I must tell you it has been a bitter endeavor. Even the shakes. Using up the shakes has been bitter too.

I decided to use up the sports energy shakes as regular shakes. I was not putting enough in. It takes 2 scoops. They had been lasting forever. I read the instructions. And so, it appears, there's about 15 servings a bag. I am on the last half of the last of those bags.

And after that, I have boxes of bars in the same product kind to use up. And I am sure that won't be overly pretty. I have thrown away many many bars. A diet program bars. These bars. I am moving toward, buy and then use. Don't buy, till it is used.

Bitter.

4 days. Two more bottles are gone.

Having said that, I have been using something which improves joints, and while using it, my restored hand has gotten better. I don't doubt something good happened there.

As to the rest, the counter is getting clearer and clearer. One of the issues could be I know what I have. I have specific cupboards, so today, I am not repurchasing the same things.

Two more bottles gone. Whew!

I don't have the code.

When God beholds the virgin despised and defiled, he raises up the army.

The Book of Judges 19:24
Behold, here is my daughter a virgin, and his concubine them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you but unto this man do not any such folly.

The Book of Judges 19:25
But the men would not hearken to him so the man laid hold on his concubine, and brought her forth unto them and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning and when the day began to spring, they let her go.

The Book of Judges 19:26
Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the mans house where her lord was, till it was light.

The Book of Judges 19:27
And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, with her hands upon the threshold.

The Book of Judges 19:28
And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going but none answered then he took her up upon the ass and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.

The Book of Judges 19:29
And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, limb by limb, into twelve pieces, and sent her throughout all the borders of Israel.

The Book of Judges 19:30
And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day consider it, take counsel, and speak.

The Book of Judges 20:1
Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, with the land of Gilead, unto Jehovah at Mizpah.

The Book of Judges 20:2
And the chiefs of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.

Here, the Lord is looking upon a bitter task to complete.

Zechariah 5:2
And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

Zechariah 5:3
Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land for every one that stealeth shall be cut off on the one side according to it and every one that sweareth shall be cut off on the other side according to it.

Zechariah 5:4
I will cause it to go forth, saith Jehovah of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name and it shall abide in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

I told my husband yesterday that using up the vitamins, supplements, etc. feels like a bitter task. Though I will buy some in the future, it needs to cycle. And maybe, occasionally, I will build in a two week break from vitamins, because I am not in love with it.
