God Separates the Holy from the Profane

God is holy. He is not to be profaned.

God requires his priests, shepherds, pastors, and people to separate themselves.

God is concerned about his reputation with the nations.

God is Jehovah. He is also called Yahweh.

His people were to honor his name.

They were to be a light to the nations to show them God's salvation plan for all mankind.

Let me show you.

Here is a search in the bible for the word "profane".

Read this for yourself.

God is concerned for his reputation!

This related to how his priests cared for holy objects, for the temple, for the use of his name, and to do things which honor God's name. Do you see that God took the Israelites out of slavery as a witness to the nations of what he would do for those who came into covenant with him?

I will make a simple transfer for you: Do not use the Lord's name in profanity. Now, we use the terms "Jesus", "Christ", and "Holy....". We should not use any of these names with disrespect. When we ask Jesus in, if we see ourselves still doing this, we need to ask God for help to remove the spirit of Profanity from us. Then, our challenge to obey will be easier. In the Old Testament, were one to curse the Lord's name, they were put to death. In the future, when Christ comes, and think on the fact that people could live 1000 years, were they to curse Christ's name, they would be put to death. This is a cultural norm we need to become used to. We are to bless not curse the Lord's holy name. In God's grace, he reaches out to those who even curse him when he greets them. As we grow in the Lord, we are to put off profanity. We are not to curse God's name.

Please consider this. Calling upon the name of the Lord is our salvation. He is our only hope.

Jeremiah 9: 23-24

Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; But let him that glorieth glory in this, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

The Disappointed Heart

In among my poetry writings, when I was young, I spent hours to days writing romantic poetry for those I was with, and I presented this as a gift. I poured my heart into the pieces I had written, with the earnest nature of Juliette in Shakespeare's play. I wrote a love poem for Valentine's Day. I presented the loved one with the gift of a poem. He received his gift and his poem. Did I say the young man threw the poem out? I found out afterward, and my heart was greatly disappointed. The words of my declaration of love were received with disrespect.

Jeremiah was God's prophet. God has Jeremiah write down more or less the book to have it read to the King of his people. Have you seen the length of Jeremiah? This book was to be read to the king as God's love letter, and yes, it was not all good, as God's people were being disobedient. God spelled out in there judgment for the king and for his people. 52 chapters. The prophet was to read God's letter to the king. The king had a sour heart. In the letter, there was chastisement from God. God told him there was punishment ahead. What did the king do? He was a poor listener. He had not heard all there was to hear from God. He took the transcript and he threw it on the fire in front of God's prophet.

What did God do? God recited the entire book again to Jeremiah. He sent him a second time to read the book to the king. This time, he added more to what the king was to listen to.

Then, God instructed his prophet to take the transcript the king had disrespected, tie a stone to it, and throw it in water (I can't recall if it was a sea or a river.) As God did to the transcript of his words, so would happen to his people in judgment.

As much as I may have ever been disappointed by the presentation of love declarations being poorly received by my hoped for young men, so God has presented his letters of covenant and declaration to his people and to the leaders of his people. God was rejected.

What the king did not get was that when God was presenting judgment, he did not understand that should he repent, God also might lift his judgment from him. God would reconsider his outcomes. God is in convenant with Israel. He is in convenant with me, now through the fact I accepted Christ as my saviour.

Now, am I sad at having my words rejected by the fine young men I knew? Today, only a little. I was devastated then. That experience allows me though, to think back and think of how devastated God would have felt having his words to his people thrown on a fire.

Examine Jeramiah. It is not a short book. It probably took God a long time to speak these words to his prophet to have them thrown on a fire.

How much did God love his people to take the time to dictate all these words of love and prophecy to his people? God punishes those he loves. He corrects them so they can see the error of their ways. Have you considered God's love letter to you?

If you have not, I recommend reading the bible. This is God's love letter to you. I do recommend either Luke or Matthew. Also search this blog for the 1 and 2 minute gospel. Happy reading!

Scripture: Jeremiah 3:6 - 4:22

In particular Jeremiah 4:19 declares God's great sadness which parallels mine:

He says, "My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war."

This continues on a couple verses later, "For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish (a sot is well a dumb person) children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge."

God requires his people to become educated and understand the difference between good and bad, and be careful to do the good.

The Pomegranate Study

Pomegranate search on Biblegateway

Review the use the pomegranate in the bible. In particular, early old testament, you should see references to these in the temple and on holy objects prepared for God's service.

Did you know God is a poet?

Poets like to weave themes into books to leave a trail for people to follow if they study long and hard enough.

The pomegranate is one of those fruits God has woven through the scripture as a theme.

What does the pomegranate mean?

Its on columns and structures in the Holy of Holies.

God likes pomegranates.

What is it about pomegranates he likes?

I just ate one.

Eating a pomegranate should remind you of a whole lot of fruit. Each seed is packed in there. God's fruit which comes from the planting of the seed of his gospel will be numerous.

Can you count the seeds in a pomegranate? They are numerous.

Another thing - when you eat it, it is impossible to not be covered by the red juice which is a symbol of Christ's blood.

You are stained red. Eating a pomegranate looks like you just finished a blood sacrifice.

That blood on you is a symbol of sanctification and setting apart as a holy property.

The fruit is red. The juice is red. You are red when you are finished eating.

The next time you eat a pomegranate, please note 1. Christ died for you - his blood was let all over to be the means of your salvation. 2. You are meant to be set apart as holy.

Yes, note in the study search above how the pomegranate symbol was used on holy objects, cloths, and on the building as one of God's favorite fruits! God is a poet. He has all these poetic symbols in here to challenge the poets among us.

Find Your Ground and Then Defend It

A Christian who has no instruction waves to and fro in the wind with no root to keep him grounded.

A Christian who goes to church and finds no spiritual grounding there needs to find a new shepherd.

If your church does not preach Jesus and why he died for you, find a new church.

Once you have found your salvation, dig deep into God's word. Get your claws in there and don't let go. Fill your mind. Fill your heart. Speak the words. Use the words as your sword. Become a warrior.

Your identity is based on God. He's your father. He sacrificed his only son for you! You were made to be with Him. Where he is - that is an exciting world. As a sci-fi and future enthusiast, I can tell you there is no place I would rather be than with him, wherever he chooses to be.

Salvation Plan Update and Bible Code

I just updated all the Salvation Plans with bible verse links  and the bible code post to bible gateway.

What you see there is a tool I had planned for evangelists and people who would go on the street.

I even suggested they put this on the T-shirt, as a visual aid to each other for finding verses either in a bible or on an iphone.

If you have a bible, and you use it frequently, you would be amazed how fast you can get at moving around in it.

On those Salvation Plans, you see a short form bible code I made for taking notes in sermons and at bible college. I use that to go a little faster taking notes. I hate rewriting if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I made a discovery. If you take the short form of those codes and you use them to look up any verse in Biblegateway, most of the time, it found the verse. This means you can navigate around bible gateway very quickly, even using an ipad to find your verses for discipleship or witnessing. I think it is like God to do this. It is not my plan or anything. It just happened!  So, there's a couple that don't work.

I will find my bible code post, and I am going to update that with a test of all 66 books, and what it appears I was missing was a vowel for a couple books needed to distinguish them from the other codes already used. I will fix that up with ones that work and test them on Biblegateway. Then, that set of codes will be more useful to you for getting around in the bible using shortcuts.

I believe that using the bible book shortcuts will work on any of the bible databases. Try them out. There are quite a few bible online sites now. I think the distinguishing feature of the search is that there's just enough letters to distinguish them from the other books.

I hope to add something called ubible I heard about Thursday. Try these there.

In a few days, I also plan to make a couple .jpg label shortcuts of the various salvation plans, so that say you had this on your desktop, or on your phone, you could click on it, and open up the various salvation plans based on the time you have with an individual. Each plan is based on the number of minutes you have with an individual: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes. You can watch for this update. Check next Friday.

It's nice to see so many of you here right now!

Beginning Praise

I begin humming laying down on my face.
I am not that great at singing.
God assists me greatly!
Humbling myself is my first step to emtpying selfishness and focusing on God.

Apadi Ana So Nai Chi by Herself Update

A Psalmist type of song:

Apadi Ana So Nai Chi

I've been singing variations of this song for a month or so. This one is not so great, but it is a start. I had stage fright when I put a mic in front of my mouth.

I will continue to practice and hopefully improve this one.

This is a sample of tongues. I have no idea what language, but if it is yours, I hope you will find the words uplifting.

Update:  Apadi Ana So Nai Chi Take 2

Here is a not quite so chicken version. Same song. Take 2.

I did a search of the words of the song on the Internet. It looks Hindi like.

There are two kinds of tongues. A person with a tongues gifting can speak in multiple tongues. For example, if the Holy Spirit needs you to, he can speak to anyone in their own language. There's said to be another tongue. It is a heavenly tongue, and based on feedback to others who speak tongues, is an Ancient form of Hebrew, and is thought to be the unified tongue of future humanity.

Tongues - the language I mainly speak I recognize. I have spoken it since I was 15, and received the gift at a youth meeting on the Holy Spirit, and the leader laid hands on me. The language feels familiar. I anticipate certain words go with the Godhead. The words mostly always sound the same. It sounds very much a language.

If you are interested in tongues, you will see on the Amazon free book post, there are free and $1 books on what tongues is all about. I do plan to buy one as well for about $10. I think I saw a book called something like 60 Reasons to Speak Tongues on the Sid Roth site.  For the impartation of tongues, how it works with spiritual gifts, is you need someone who has the gift. If they lay hands on you and pray you will receive tongues, you receive it. The gift in them transfers.

In my opinion, this one turned out okay.

Today's Sid Roth Night Terrors

On today's Sid Roth show, a young girl speaks of having night terrors. When she would fall asleep, ten men would be over her torturing her. She met Dustin Neil - a praise singer, who gave her his CD. She played the music while she slept and it kept the torturers away. Then one night, she did not have the music. The torture dream returned. As the ten men surrounded her to torture her, she began singing the song, which was a declaration of praise to Jesus. The ten men went away.

I have heard other's stories of children's night terrors. How I interpret this is judgment and harassment placed on the young. There is a place for spiritual victory here. This child succeeded by singing a spiritual declaration she learned in praise music. Parents also can declare and do spiritual battle for their children.

For today, watch Sid Roth.

I see the show aired Monday, November 26, 2012. Pull the page down to see the show.

Also, these shows are on the Grace Television channel. If the shows are on television, they are more comfortable to watch than on the computer. Check it out. It airs 4 times a day.

Here is a topic related resource: Let Our Children Go.  This is on special!

Night Terror Story

In my little girl life, I was called Sissy. I had a big brother. I was in a room. I had recently moved from a crib to being in my big girl bed. I had been here now for a couple months. It was not long enough to have forgotten my crib. I got the big girl bed – the twin bed – because we had a new family member. My little brother had been born. He was now out from my Mom’s tummy and he needed the crib. So my familiar cozy place with bars about me I had traded for my twin bed.

On my walls, I had pink accents on white. My mom had collected cute ornaments for me to see. I had a money bank to put coins in on my shelf. I loved the tiny shiny objects which I collected out of letters from my grandma. She always had them taped beside three large X’s and O’x. The silver quarters all had pictures of the Queen. I put each one into my bank.

My waking days were accompanying my mom. I hung around her a lot, unless she insisted I go play. I would take my doll and shapes puzzle and I would play in my room on the floor. I would sit and try to put the shapes through each hole. If I put the right shape through each hole, it would go through. If I could not get a match, the shape would not go through. It was pretty simple. The red plastic accepted blue, yellow, and green shapes. Success or failure did not matter. It was just fun to fit things through the shapes.
My mom loved me. I sought her attention. My dad was out at work. He was out doing something important, though I was not really sure what. He could scoop me up high into the air, far from my place on the ground. In my room, near the bed, sat my large white rocker. My mom rocked me on that rocker on her knee. Recently, I received a Donna sized rocker. It was painted white and made of wood. It matched the big rocker in most of its ways. The big rocker and the little rocker matched. I would sit in it alone and rock, like my Mom rocked me. I rocked my doll and my cat the way she had rocked me.

Each night at bedtime, my parent’s would try to read to me just a little story if they could. Bedtime meant as I went to sleep I was allowed to have Tiger come on my bed. This was a really big advantage of being in the bed. I did not have to be separated from the cat by bars. Now, the cat could come rub upon my face and shoulders purring as we would find our mutual place on our bed. Tiger settled in near my feet. The cat, relative to me, was pretty big. Also at bedtime, Mom would sort of set the blankets and get me all warm. In those days, sometimes, she would put a hot water bottle at my feet, to get things just a bit toasty. I was in a flannel one piece PJ.

I was in a warm and cozy place in my room. I fell asleep.

I awoke. I opened my eyes and I was surrounded by many many people. Everybody was sad. I had cried when I was sad, mournfully lonely if I had been scolded and left in my room. Everyone here was lonely. They all cried at the top of their lungs. The sky of the place I looked up at was dark. I was in a very large pool. It was very very large. I had a kiddy pool. It was yellow, and it fit three. It fit me and my two brothers. This pool – it fit hundreds, if not thousands. I could not tell. I did not yet know how to count very high. I could perhaps count to ten. There were a lot of people here. Everybody cried. I heard voices all around me. They were all so sad, and so much sadder than I had ever known. I could not help but cry with them. I can’t help but cry now just thinking about it.

I had woken up in this pool. I was floating on the top along with a bunch of other people I could see. My experiences with pools was limited at this time you see. I had never yet visited a pool. I had been in a bathtub to be washed. I had been in a kiddy pool. That was it. So, I was in a great pool. In this pool, there was a great clamour of everyone crying at the top of their lungs, as much as they could cry. With them, I cried too.

I began to process. This pool had edges. The was a large straight slide. People came down the slide and they landed in this pool. The slide was not fun. The slide made people all cry. When they came down the slide, they cried all the way down, and when they landed in the pool, they cried very loud, as if they were in even greater pain. They cried and cried with no hope. What had they all done? Why were they here? What was this place? What’s going on?

I had little experience to go on in my little life. I had experienced booboos. My mom had put bandaids on my finger. I had seen iodine. Before we put the bandaid on, we would put this red stinky iodine on the cut. We did this to disinfect it. It kind of stung. Yes, that caused me to cry then. I did not like iodine.
I understood this red liquid pool around me to be like iodine. We were in a pool of burning liquid.

I was pulled and I was put with a line of people who climbed stairs to the top of the slide. I was in a long line. We all climbed. I don’t know why I was in the line. I did not know what was coming. I climbed. I got to the top of the slide, and I looked down upon my pool, where I had come from. I looked down on all the people in the pool. I stood at the top of the slide, which had two metal blades doing all the way down the slide, dead centre, like sharp bread knives. I was pushed forward from behind. I fell forward, and I fell into the cupping of this slide carrying me forward downward to the pool, all the while my body being cut all over by the razors down the centre of this slide. I hurt immensely as my flesh opened up and burned by the open wounds all over me. This lasted 30-40 seconds. It hurt more than all the cuts I had ever had. It hurt more than I could ever imagine. I hit the end, and I launched up for just a split second of relief in the air, and I landed in the iodine pool, and my just opened flesh on my legs, arms, back, and shoulders burned with extreme pain as I merged into the pool. My heart and soul screamed aloud, “Ahhhhhhhhh!” In my dream, I cried louder than I could in my normal body and voice. My cry joined the others. Another came behind me and slashed beside me, making the iodine splash up and down over my shoulders. I cried with a broken heart.

I looked around again. I looked at this pool. I looked at all the sad faces of people in this pool. I cried. I literally cried. Yes, I cried for me. I also cried for them. I was so sad for everybody. I could see shapes moving about the edges. What had we done? Why were we here? What was this place?
I felt like I had been here for hours. Would I ever wake up? Could I get out of this dream? Was I stuck here forever? I felt my hands stir on covers. I woke up in my darkened room. I let out a cry. I let out a desperate cry. I screamed and cried as I had in the pool. I felt tears run down my face like streams. I wet my flannel pyjamas, my pillow, and my bed with tears flooding all around me. I screamed. What I mean is I made the type of cry I made in my dream. I cried that way. Then, as I looked around my room, and realized I was in my bed, with my toys, and my rocker in the room, my cry lessoned.

My mom opened the door and turned on the light. “There, there, dear, you just had a bad dream. Those are not real. Do not worry. There, there. She held me to her chest. In her hair and on her body, I felt safe. My crying turned backward to quiet sobs, as I realized I was home, in a normal place, with my mom and my toys and my cat. I did not resist. I let my mom clasp me and comfort me from the bad dream. After twenty minutes, she said, “It’s time to go back to sleep.”

I looked at her desperately, “I do not want to go back to sleep.”

She said, “Everybody sleeps at night. That’s what we do. I will leave your night light on. You stay in bed till you fall asleep.”

I did. I held the cat near me. I felt her fur. I was not alone. This cat was my companion, staying with me after my mom kissed my forehead goodnight.

I tried to stay awake as long as I could. I did not even know how to explain my bad dream to my mom. All I could say when she asked what happened in my dreams was, “I was in a pool. I was burning.”

I could not adequately express my nightmare. I looked at my cat, holding her close in my sheets. If I could just hold my eyes open, I would not go to sleep. I pulled the sheets around me in the slightly cold room.
The night claimed me. My eyes shut. I fell asleep. Dead. A dead sleep. I dreamed no more that night. Peaceful quiet rest straight till morning. No dreams.

I awoke to a normal 3 year old day. Breakfast. Toast with cinnamon spread. Play. Running in the yard. Frequent visits to mom. The day proved life was normal. It was the life I had lived the day before. My relief at being in a normal place returned. I chose to forget the dream. This was real.

There was a minor problem: Three more times this dream returned across the months. Three months later, I had it again. Three months later, I had it again. Three months later, I had it again.

By the age of four, I was well acquainted with this dream. I was not forgetting it. The image and experience was engraved on my soul. I had questions.
  • Why were these people and I in the pool?
  • Why were we helpless?
  • Why were we punished?
  • What could we do to stop being in this pool?
  • Why did we have such a horrible slide?
  • How come when I would fall asleep would I come here?
  • What did this experience mean?
I was three going on four. I had some pretty sobering thoughts. I had questions. I recognized a great human family. What was the answer to this set of night terrors? Why did I have night terrors? Did this place in my dreams really exist? How could you know it existed? How do you measure real and non-real? What was this place of sadness and screaming?

Every time I awoke from this dream, my screams were of terror. As my cries persisted and I realized I was on my bed, in my room, with my parents nearby, I began to settle. I felt inadequate to tell my mom all that happened in my dream. The place was so large compared to my little room. I was so sad for everyone there. Was that dream another reality? What was it?

Dear reader, if you have read the accounts of the dreams and visions, and of near death experiences, what do you think this night terror means? What do we have to do to not go there? In my dream, there was no means of escape or change. What was was. As much as I cried in my dream, the dream at that time would not end. What do we need to do to avoid going there? Did I see you in my dream? Did I see my neighbor? Did I see the person who would sit next to me at church in the wooden pew? Could it be either you or one you love? I can tell you I had a bond to those around me. We were sort of a family. We were all in the same predicament of being sad there. I was really sad for my human family’s hopelessness.
  • Who is our hope?
  • Where is our hope?
  • How do we invite our hope in?
At this time, waterslides had not yet been invented. When I was 10, I saw my first one on a trip to British Columbia. I did not like them. I looked at them, and I wondered if they would hurt and burn. I had a great underlying fear of them. When I was 12, I went on my first one. It was similar, but people laughed, and had great fun. This was not the same. There were cries of joy landing in water.
  • What did that dream mean?
  • What does it mean for us?
Last night, I relived some of the vision and sensations of that dream. I invited the dream. I asked the Holy Spirit to feel free to let me relive the sensations, so I could more adequately tell the story. My heart is broken in the dream. My heart is broken for all the others who were my family, my humanity, in the pool. My tears are for them. Their voices rung through the space with tinny ringing of those who are unheard.
At 4, Jesus met me in a dream. After that encounter, though I was not yet saved, I began to call out to the friend I met in my dream. Any bad dream I encounter, I screamed, “Jesus, help me.” All bad dreams ended. To have Jesus end your eternal bad dream, say aloud, “Jesus, I’m yours.” Jesus hears and answers now.

Focus on Books

Between now and January, I will be focusing on books. Hopefully, you will see them appear. I have quite a few I wanted out this year. To do this, I will be writing less on the blog. I will be getting a few of my pictures up on Fine Art America.

However, as I say that, the blog is well work and entertainment. So, we'll see.

All that I do complete - I will always update here.

For now, I invite you to visit my art gallery a bit more, as my attention will be there. You can hop across to that from the Pellirojos Blog.

As well, continue to come here for updates on my releases.

Do not forget to join me for church.

Church Assignment - Pray Against the Bully

Derek Prince taught that when you claim you stake a claim upon your spiritual position, God defends you.

I would like one father in a church to stake a claim. I would like that father to be joined by 4-5 other fathers in praying for this specific need.

Here is the need: Your child is being bullied.

Families who have children who are being bullied, often at school, do all sorts of accomodation strategies, and none of these call on God. Families will go as far as moving neighbourhoods and cities to get away from a bully. In a recent case in the news, the bullied child still committed suicide after the move.

Fathers, your child may have believed a lie about who they are. It is your job to find positive identity affirming scripture - make a page of truth and put this up on your child's bedroom door.

Include on it a statement of love and hope from you and your wife.

In your prayer support group, pray for this bully situation, and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Ask to hear from God through your prayer group. Have them all give you what they hear and any verses they are inspired to provide you.

Claim the promises in the verses over your family and over your child specifically. Teach and have your child memorize one anti-bully verse. If you had your child identify the accusastions and names they hear in their mind, you can find a bible verse which counters each one. You can teach your child to claim the truth of that verse against the lie each time it comes. Eventually, Satan gives up. He attacks the weak. He will not come against the strong for long.

If your child gets into a bullied situation, have them say that verse aloud to the bully. Ask them how that worked!

I have even thought that claiming the verses name and then the positive affirmation from that scripture may work - as it is a statement of faith and hope. That I would have to test with experience.

Ask the Lord to remove the bully, not the child, from their environment. Stake a claim. Claim victory.

Dad, you need authority over the spirits. You may need authority over spirits that cause illness. You need to live pure. For you to be the maximum hedge of protection over your family, you need to repent.

Derek says there is no true prophet who does not teach repentance. Yes, that convicted me. Repentance is not a dirty word. Repentance is agreeing with God that something we did is wrong, and claiming via confession of sin our release to a position of power.

Angels help us do our job, and protect our family when we maintain our ground, our claim, our position using scripture, and when we ask God in prayer to do things according to his will. If we have been waiting for our angel to show up, it is likely we have not asked for their help, or claimed our ground by putting ourself in the right position with Christ.

Dads, you have a job, but that job is best fulfilled by a group of Christians standing with you in the gap for your family. All spiritual battle is accomplished verbally. That means you pray aloud. You claim scripture aloud.

Churches men's groups: Do this for one child encountering one bully.

Note the results. Praise God. Thank God.

Do this again. In a small group of 4-5, grow your faith. In your small group, maintain the confidentiality of the details, but share the generic faith building story with your own men's groups at that church.

Why this assignment, Donna? Begin practicing spiritual victory now.

In the near future, you need to build your faith. You need to call your position. You need to work on this challenge, as the challenges which will be coming to you will be significantly greater. Begin your spiritual sparring now. When you see things much bigger than these, you will have already had demonstrated success.

Church Assignment: I have not seen a church gather all the youth at the front of the sanctuary to pray against the bullies which are defeating the young. Is it that time?

I am not a church pastor. The church pastor has the spiritual authority over all his congregation. That means, for example, my Pastor Scott could call up all the children who have been bullied in his congregation, and acknowledge their pain before the Lord, and as a whole congregation, he could do spiritual battle for them, so that all these children could be released from a host of bullies. Pastor Scott could ask for healing to come to their spirits. He could lead them in prayers of forgiveness against the human bully. I realize we call children forward and we bless them. That's all good. I think it would be amazing to hear the congregation's stories of life change from the release of power of their pastor on their behalf.

One pastor in charge of a whole congregation yields a whole lot of God's power for transformational change. The words they speak can transform a whole people!

What do you think?

In a martial arts class, the dojo demonstrates the techniques of battle for his students. The church pastor is meant to teach his men by open demonstration how to do spiritual battle for their family. The concept is clearly understood that mentors follow the techniques taught to them in martial arts, but this concept of doing spiritual battle needs to be demonstrated for dads and men in the church. This is what I think.

Regarding Strategies:

I have begun to use snapping my fingers and clapping to do spiritual warfare. One sound emitted by a person carrying within them the Holy Spirit accomplishes warfare. The Holy Spirit's work is carried through sound. Think on this as you try out your strategies. If you look at the faith healers, they all used sound. Do not criticize them for this. Sozo uses sound in addition to words. Not yelling. Sound. Think on this.

Bible Meditation Extension:

Ezekiel 38-39 describes a battle. Please note how the voice, speaking, and emitting words does spiritual battle. To speak against an enemy is to prophesy an outcome to them. Spiritual battle is in part a prophesy of the outcome of battle.

What you have here is there is a future battle, and for this future battle, the whole battle and the outcome was prophesied a couple thousand years ago.

If you think the battle today is not important in the whole eternity context of things, think again. God calls Ezekiel to speak. He calls him to speak God planned truth and outcomes God knows. Chapter 38: Verse 3-4, 14 and 22 are verbal prophetic statements. This demonstration will show all man and all creatures how Christ does battle. He will be magnified. Next see Chapter 39: Verse 1-5, and 8.

Review these chapters. You will find other applications of the truth in these chapters to other aspects of this post. We serve a Mighty and Holy God!

Use Bible Verses To Affirm Identity

So, yes, I've been reading a bunch of Derek.

What I've learned about spiritual victory is this:

Satan or his demons come with a message for you.

That message is in the form of a thought, dream, or word from a person in the environment.

As a Christian, we should judge all the input we receive.

Is the message intended to create a lie, a falsehood, lack of hope, or inconsiderate message?

Victory is hope in Christ. You claim that hope by quoting scripture against the lie.

Last night, I had a bad dream. That dream contained a message about my identity.

This morning, I found a scripture passage. I read it aloud - because remember that scripture is holy and able to accomplish in the heavenlies and spiritual realm that which we alone cannot. Scripture read aloud is the sword - from Jesus' and God the Father's own lips - which  cuts down the enemy's progress.

I found the scripture which claims the opposite of the lie. I read it aloud. I personalized the scripture. I spoke to the demonic element who gave me the lie. I read the scripture to them.

I will continue my day with the affirmation of God's promise and hope for me.

You are to do the same. This is what Derek did. He identified the lie or the curse. He found the scripture affirmation. He claimed it. He staked his ground. He took it as God's son.

Consider your reading in the bible today to be full of power from God. Find the affirmations. When you do, change them to a personalized I or We (for your family), and claim them for your own household.

Defeat is not placing our hope in Christ. It is looking elsewhere. It is looking to the lie and believing it. It is yielding when the temptation is placed before us, forgetting whose we are.

Who do you belong to? Are you a son or a daughter of God? You can be. You were bought with the blood of God's own son.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believed on him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(Yes, this is the memorized version, so if you want the exact wording, go to bible gateway, and put this in.)

Memorize one verse about your identity today! What this one says above to me is this:

God loved me so much he gave his only son, so when I would believe in him, I will not perish, but I will have everlasting life.

Change the claim around into a personal statement for yourself. This affirmation is what you should cling to as your hope!

Your Position of Power in Christ

Assignment: Make a list of the defeating lies which you hear in your mind.

Recognize the origin of these lies is an evil spirit.

Now whether that evil spirit rests within you or whatever, the key is it is oppressing you. I am not planning on arguing the Christian philosophy that a Holy Spirit filled individual can't have a demon.

So, ask the Holy Spirit to identify the culprit. Use your bible to search for data on this. Look for opposite affirmations.

The bottomline is this. You identify the lie and the spirit. You ask the spirit to leave in Jesus name. You quote scripture to the spirit and ask it to leave. Every Christian needs teaching on this. We need a relationship to hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit in order to be able to discern God's voice to identify what is spiritually wrong! You also use scripture God brings to you.

Then, when it is gone, claim the hope found in scripture to keep that spirit out by saying the words of that verse you have memorized. Keep your heart swept clean!

This can change 30+ year battles you have fought on your own with no seeming ability to change on your own!

You do this using the power of the blood, and the affirmation of hope in Christ to fight your battles, by speaking his word aloud!

The American Constitution

The Constitution of the United States of America, with all of the Amendments; The Declaration of Independence; and The Articles of Confederation, annotated (Breathitt Classics) for 99 cents.

I thought this a find! I wonder if I can find the Canadian Constitution!

Wouldn't it be great if all the great bills were published for public eyes to see!

Declarations will of course be part of what this is made of. I believe it would be an interesting read.

New Addition

Hello Readership,

I will be hunting and adding about 10 blogs of Christian writers. I have enjoyed having Pastor Scott's blog linked, and to add a bible study tool, moved his content to the Work Desk. Along with his, I will be hunting for some more writers who I will post as reading content.

On the Work Desk, you will see this content grouped under Christian Bloggers.

There are blogs related to most of the major Christian media channels and bible study resources. The blogs I plan to group together are those which are regular folk, like myself, and that can include pastors - as they are regular folk that know God, and I am looking for people who weave into their life narratives a bit of what they have learned about God.

I added a blog called a Holy Experience which is written from the perspective of a Mom managing a household and all that it entails. Once I have a good mix set up, I may make a blog that refers to all ten blogs or so, so that one can easily navigate between 10 or more Christian blogs.

I would not develop that blog. It would just be a set of reading material I have organized for you. It may also be people I mentor in developing their God story. Why? This is one of the ways we have power over Satan, conquering him. We do it by confessing and agreeing with God about who we are, and by sharing our testimony. This is intended to be a manner of writing for spiritual victory.

I am open to working with new people who are just beginning their God story in the form of a blog, and assisting them in working out their story online. The larger concept here is as one writes the blog, the little bits of content could later be organized into a publication. If you see content on new Christian bloggers, this may be people I have encouraged to begin their blog. We'll see what God brings my way.

I am filling out the robustness of the content here, to meet different audiences. Now, I realize I might be redirecting you to other writers. I have never been competitive. I hope you will keep me in your favorites, and you will come to me as a starting point for beginning your online studies about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible.

As I continue developing, I plan to continue to expand the information and its organization to finding God related content on the Internet. For example, I will find new ways of presenting all the books I found for you into my amazon e-store. It does not make sense to group a bunch of books into an e-store for free, but it is actually about putting them in there for you to access easily.

You will note, sometimes, I unpublish work I do. I pull it back. I sometimes do this to continue refining my thoughts on the matter, and to improve the content presentation.

Have a lovely day. Please visit the First Alliance Church tab for our service this weekend.

Warm regards,

The Camera Ad

Do you see it? I like that camera! It is very handy with many good features.

To Like or Not to Like Updated

Derek Prince speaks to his audience and says, "Did you know that you cannot go to heaven if you really do not like me."

God commands us to love our neighbour. All those people at school, work, or in your social spheres who are gifted at displaying they do not like you, and that attitude is seated in their heart with a gripping bitterness, they are going to hell. That is because God does not have a filter for "I don't like you" for one and not for another. God loves all his children. He loves every single one. The ones who make it to heaven will have forgiven all their bitternesses to those who did wrong to them.

Going through school, as many children's peers demonstrate this "I do not like you" in both words and deeds, even in bullying behaviour, this becomes a popular trend to follow. There's a girl in class and she is just too tall, or she wears glasses with a thick lens. Do you see how minute the detail is which leads to setting an us-you mentality? Unkindness is set up, as the feeling of "We are better" is built by putting another down. The feeling of us-you pulled out of the classroom and into Hell, this is where the attitude comes from. As Hell is built on punishment for no reason (and I realize that man is sinful and lands there by his own choice, but if demons could have access to man, they would hate him because he was created in the image of God and benefits from the opportunity and love of God, while they have lost it), Hellish culture comes out of sin allowed to stay in a person's heart and ferment it to vinegar.

Derek Prince was speaking to people in the church. Does the church need this message? They need to be informed. They are then responsable. The church should not have breaks and shifts in her people. The church should have those in it who demonstrate friendliness.

Are you someone that people do not like? God commands them to. Now, does that mean they should not demonstrate boundaries. Yes, they do. They do not have to be all warm and fuzzy about you. That you have to manage. However, know this, God is for you. He loves you. He made you perfectly. There is nothing about you he did not plan. If you think something about you is imperfect because someone told you that you were, rebuke the thought. Say, "I am perfect just as God created me. God loves me. I should love me." Now, you don't control who likes and does not like you, but God does. If someone does something unkind, affirm yourself, "My creator likes me."

I am here to inform you God loves you and you are a perfect creation in his eyes.

You need a relationship to your Creator. You and I are apart from our Creator until we ask Jesus into our heart. If you would like to receive affirmations from him into your soul, you invite him in by saying aloud, "Jesus, I'm yours."

Read the bible. This contains hundreds, if not thousands of affirmations that God loves you.

Update: I have thought about another aspect of this matter. If a person spends their life buying into the popularity concept of disliking, mistreating, and bullying others, as a means of being part of the IN crowd, who are they in with? They are in with the HELL crowd.

That crowd of people are destined to an eternity of loneliness.

Satan uses these network circles to steal life opportunities from us. If we leave a sin crack of dislike in us, what we do is shut off God's voice to us due to this sin. Satan steals from us our usefulness to God. He steals from us our own happiness. Now, I recognize the bully in being unkind to the outsider, is doing it to steal their happiness, but God himself punishes those who bully. He takes away a blessing for them to be happy in their own skin. They do not experience joy the way they could.

So, when you are in circles where being disrespectful, unkind, and critical to another, I would like you to weigh the real cost to yourself of participating in these social ventures. How important is God to you? How important is it to hear God's voice? Without God's voice, we lose a great deal of Holy Spirit compassion and empowering in our own life. Think on this. Be one of the people who goes and supports the broken-hearted in their venture. Affirm them. Love them. Jesus was not accepted. He was cast away by his own people. When you bless the one who is hurt, you bless Jesus, and God smiles on your compassion, seeking ways to be kind to you.

How Do You Fight the Beast Government

The bible contains the recipe for beating anti-Christ governments.

You can have all the technology and data in the world.

When you fight a spiritual enemy, you need God sent tools.

You need prophet(s).

You need spiritual giftings. David's mighty men were gifted from God with exceptional fighting power.

You need to praise God.

You need to read God's word and make declarations upon yourself.

Hexes and curses against God's guy and girl do not stand, when a Christian/Jew/Catholic know how to remove them. Undeserved curses won't stick. That means, I think, if you are pure and there's no sin crack to allow a curse to stick, it won't. We know of stories where Christians have had curses put against them and the curse stuck. I would not expect a curse to stick if a Christian were on track and pure.

Why would I talk about this? Part of early battle was placing curses on the enemy before battle, so that one group would beat the other.

That's why the story of David and Goliath is important.

God's warriors expect them to look for him in the wind moving the trees. The Holy Spirit accompanies them.

Much fear will fall upon man during the control and authority of the Beast Government.

When the nations align to work against and attack the Beast Government, get a bible, set up a praise, prayer, healing, and worship/teaching room, and begin to honor God. Anoint the saved people who have invited Christ into their hearts. Build your body of believers. God will join you and lead you to victory.

For those who know about World War II, I have papers from the days of the war. In the city newspaper, they put scripture declarations of the same type that Derek Prince uses.

They had them in the newspaper daily. They included prayers for the soldiers too. That is doing war. That is calling God down to help in the battle. I have the proof.

You fight the land, sea, air battle simultaneous to the spiritual battle. Study the books here for how to perform spiritual battle and set up partner groups to pray and praise.

Last night, I read the Derek Prince book on how to do declarations for your nation. Okay, we have Obama. Can God use him in his role? Can God draw him? Get Derek Prince's book on declarations from Amazon and begin declaring this over him and over the government. Your quiet time can have national impact.

A lot of this is about claiming the protection and position God gives you as his child. This can protect you from attacks, from gossip and slander, from all manner of enemy. Every Christian can claim their space/position now. Imagine that the cure to beating the bully was always in our Christian hands, and we never used our authority in Christ? How awful is that? Derek Prince shows how to rebuke the bully - the king of all bullies is Satan, but the earthly ones motivated from hellish desires for manipulation too. All bullies are staking a claim: a physical claim, a position claim as being better, a power claim, and the list of potential manipulations is long. Yet, when you call Christ down against the bully, the tide of battle turns.

In the end times battle, there will be a one world computer system. Here is an opportunity to end time hackers. Christian hackers, yes. Guys who manipulate data to protect people moving about.  Is my imagination furnished by movies, yes. Does this make sense? Yes. Are you a Christian? Are you a hacker? Well, if the two do not co-exist now, perhaps in the future, they should. Maybe the Christian hackers will be people who have high degrees of computer knowledge. There will be a technology war against people. One of the strategies and wars will be via technology.

Are there counter internets? Are there counter data travel systems? I am just musing. Will you create passports and identity cards for people to travel in those times? Perhaps. Or will angels provide all that type of access. That is demonstrated too.

On Sid Roth, there is an example of how God can transport a person to wherever he needs them, and this requires no passport. What this means is this is one manner of God meeting needs for travel. Here is that epidisode of Sid Roth. Jerame Nelson.

Jesus the Living Water - Quench Your Thirst

This is an animation page tied into immediate sound. It is a cartoon presenting a key truth about Jesus Christ. I invite you to visit this. I like it and play it over and over. The story is about Jesus and the woman at the well. The character you meet in Jesus in this little segment is a snapshot of what you will learn of Jesus in the four gospels. I will be encouraging you to get a free Amazon Kindle account, and then refer you to either a free or $1 book to read one of the gospels about Christ. I included just a couple which are higher priced.

There are a lot of people who do not know that a kindle account you can access from all your digital devices is free. As well, there are free books to read. Now, that won't fill your bookshelf, but it will give you a start for reading on your phone, so you have material to entertain you on the bus.

You can read the gospel on the way to work. Cool, right?

As you read, stop every once in a while, and allow your imagination to depict the story, according to the words. That's what this animation above does. Then, go back and reread the story.

By finding you these books, I am bringing you to the water source who poured water into these writer's souls, who in turn are providing them free for your soul's thirst quenching.

Okay, so there's a lot here, but enough to permit you to choose some and get into reading God's word and reading some good Christian literature.

Of the guys below, related to my Church forefathers there's Albert Simpson and Dwight Moody. Now, you can find others you may be interested in by looking through the ribbon tabs on the product pages.

To be shopping for your discipleship books, follow these steps:

Step 1.

Get a Kindle account.

Step 2.

Download. You still go through a purchase procedure. You buy the book, but there's no charge.

Here's Donna's free discipleship picks for you:

So, after you have enjoyed the animation, I hope you found yourself some Christian texts to water your soul. Jesus loves you. He pours into each of his loved ones his revelation, and then these inspired by God to love his fellow man, shares his revelation of God in Him to the one beside. The pouring out is in these texts.

Please benefit by reading some of these and in seeking the Lord, ask him to fill you, and make you water to those around you. You in turn will pour out the Scripture in Declaration and the Holy Spirit's gifts in Revelation to those around.

The specific Holy Spirit gift demonstrated by all these writers above is Teaching. Right? Some of them got started in the pulpit. Some of them were launched by a near death experience. Some of them were started by a Holy Spirit infilling. Whatever launched them into their anointing, it is all good, as they have used their gift to write books for us to read. I guarantee you as I have shopped for you, I also bought many of these for  me. My Kindle Christian library is filling up.

Please check out Kindle as a resource in building your Christian life. The one bible book I particularly recommend is the King James Searchable bible. It is very useful to have on your phone in church and for witnessing. I hope you can tag verses. That would be useful. You can go through this blog and search the term "salvation" and then tag hopefully, all the key verses to salvation and presenting it to someone on the steet. I would love you to memorize verses, but that will come.

I realize this blog can never completely fill your thirst, but I can make you thirsty, so I would like you to begin reading many texts to build your faith in Christ.

As well, as you shop on Kindle, if you have a Kindle friend, and this book might be good for them, I think you can send an email letting them know about the book. Think about that if you have a friend currently seeking spiritually.

Jesus Christ is the Living Water who will quench your thirst. If you are ready, say, "Jesus, I'm yours."

You will be spiritually renewed and as you read the above material, you will be rooted in the knowledge of your position in Christ - an adopted child of the Living God.

For about $30, you can have several weeks or a month of reading for your Sabbath.

In most Kindle books, there is a speech tool and you can have your book read to you. If you do quiet time in your room or study, you could connect the computer to television, and have it up in large size in a room while you are doing your quiet time, and just have it read to you. I may also suggest having soft instrumental music on at the same time, as this may increase reading retention. That is provided you can create that atmosphere.

I am hoping to create a store page and include all these free and 1 dollar books on it. I will also include like here some paid, but most will be inexpensive. I would like to encourage students to get some, and money should be no object.

At the same time,  my readers would know that I've built an interest in Derek and I would buy a lot of his material. I did not see that much material on Amazon, unless I have not searched far enough yet.

Work Desk Updated

Yes, a bit of work has been completed.

See links to help you study.

Psalm 79

Psalms, 79 Bold is mine.

1. O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

2. The dead bodies of thy servants have they given [to be] meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

3. Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and [there was] none to bury [them].

4. We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.

5. How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

6. Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.

7. For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.

8. O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

9. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

10. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is] their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight [by] the revenging of the blood of thy servants [which is] shed.

11. Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;

12. And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

13. So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

Derek Prince - Judgement

Judgement begins at the sanctuary...

How many of us are in love with Mammon?

Judgement of the Lord

If Obama shows up at a church, the church is responsible to teach him what is right and wrong, what is holiness and what is not, what to fear the Lord is and what it is not. If the church who receives him does not teach this, then the church he came to is responsible. If he is taught, he is. The same is to be said for senior officials in government who go to churches. Churches, adjust your program if you have to. What have the leaders learned?

Invite the Holy Spirit In

Spend some of your devotional time each week soaking. Read God's word. If you are not a singer, listen and mouth the words of worship. Listen to soaking meditation music. As in Colossians 3, focus your mind on things above, as the Christian version of Over the Rainbow speaks of.  See our end game. See where we are going.

Investigate the links pulled into blog posts here.

There's a bunch on how to get closer to God, invite the Holy Spirit into our lives, and how to live like Joseph and Daniel, inviting gifts from the Holy Spirit. Some of the recent links added in include teaching resources people can buy to receive training on this. You need a friend for what is coming. To do this, if you are not a Christian, you can be one, by saying, "Jesus, I'm yours." Tell someone you have been saved. Then, be baptized and ask Jesus for the Holy Spirit to come in. Complete each prayer in Jesus name.

Christians in the end times need closer connection to the Godhead. The cost of discipleship under Christ is great. We will pay for this devotion with our lives. We will live under conditions requiring faith till we get there. We will endure 10 days of torture and then death.

What to Expect

One of storytellers here says that in the gas chambers, none of the Jewish people even emitted a peep as they died, God was with them. I trust God will be with us in the face of death. Our job to today is to prepare for living out our God mandate, which is to be witnesses for him, and to live in complete faith, forsaking the gods of this world which draw us into immorality, the major part of which is hidden from the eyes of others.

In the end times scenario, will man live according to the lowest common denominator for standards? In the concentration camps, the enemy did not end up being the guards, as much as it was the co-prisoner. I heard in the Sozo training that in concentration camps, that a witness of it (I can update the name) realized there's 2 species of people. There's the man of God who gives away his mitten in comfort of the man beside him, and then dies. There's the man of fallen nature who selfishly does everything to harm those around him to serve Mammon, which directs man to think he never has enough, and he can never satisfy his range of personal needs. I think the man of the second type is more common. All manner of fleshly lust was satisfied through the human value of meeting the lowest common denominator of requirement of commitment to those around. The enemy in the concentration camp was all the other prisoners around a prisoner, who all had wants and lusts which could not be fulfilled due to the circumstances set around them. They were worse to one another than anything even guards did to them.

Where would you fit in a concentration camp of thousands of people who were stripped of all manner of personal identity, possession, and dignified fulfillment of your human needs? The goal is to get you to curse God your Father. Do you have enough faith in your hand right now? Could you pass this test? If not, seek God now. Seek him so you will have enough faith. If in your future you wear a prison number on your uniform, or you wear some identification which calls you to disgrace for being a Christ follower, please remember you are counted as Christ's lamb.

Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft in God's eyes. Normally, committing rebellion comes with a curse. However, the Beast government which Christians will work against is not God's will. Rebelling against these government moves is not sin. It is survival. Any movement which focuses on ethnic cleansing and eventual human race cleansing is not of God. Rebellion against the beast government is not sin. You will be part of a counter movement. You will be forced into it. Your basic survival instinct will draw you to it.

In the Second World War, you see movie accounts of people lying for and hiding people. This is good. Protecting the life of God's people is good. Having a conscience that an enemy will work against you, yes, that will happen. People will turn in their own family. Essentially, when these end times come, you are in war.  Strategies of war will reign. You will have to be aware of the information you disclose. Then, you may not be able to trust your own kin. If you act to protect your brother from the Beast, and this includes lying to protect their life, account this as God's warfare for a time. You are at war to protect your brother.

Already, all the backup information from Facebook, even if we closed our accounts, all that could be restored. However, as these days draw closer, you will want to evaluate this.

As economic sanctions are set upon people who do not choose to take the mark, I would like to be clear that as society progresses under his leadership, that he is setting up a situation for mankind to be desperate, and though he says he will fulfill their economic needs, he will not. Mankind will be a concentration camp. There will be great evil as oppressed men oppress each other. It is like hell on earth. It is like those now in hell having access to earth, as they fulfill their needs and lusts and addictions, all unfulfilled in hell. At the same time, Satan will demand worship. People will have no choice. The time of tribulation will be the major colonization of earth by Satan. It will include hell culture which includes torture, death, and many of the symbols of Hitler's movements.

For a moment, I would like to speak to rapes. There's going to be rape victims.  A victim of rape does not carry the sin of rape. The rapist carries all the sin before God. One who is raped can be made whole before God. God will not account this guilt upon you. Men who rape will be punished by God. They themselves will be raped by demons in hell, according to demon's will. Their sex partners will be demons in forms of deformed man images/those with cancerous humps/destroyed visages and other manners of penetration only imagined in Hell.

God can restore the body and soul to holiness. Do not account such things against yourself should this happen. Seek Jesus and his healing. He is making us a world where no rape will ever again occur, as no evil will come there after the judgement of men and angels. We will have an eternity of safety then. Rapes are forecasted as a major part of this end time war. Fear God who controls man's final destiny more than those who destroy this body. If one is raped, seek consolation in the Lord.
If one wants to do spiritual warfare while in prison, pray the people persecuting Christians will not be able to rape whoever is taken. Bind the enemy in the guards who seeks to destroy and humiliate Christians. Even ask the Lord to provide circumstances where the torture is lifted. If people come to back mutiliated, missing arms, or completely destroyed in unimaginable ways one can't believe, pray as a group for their complete healing. They will be healed. When one is neither fed nor satisfied with water, ask the Lord for both, and he will provide this. Group prayer of the remaining prisoners and group praise will make a huge difference in the treatment of those taken from the cells.

Seek miraculous ways without limits that God can meet Christian's needs in these days of testing. The best thing parents can do is to pray, and build their children's faith for this future testing.

Church Revival Exchange

Something I see in churches where there is revival
There's a lot of guest preaching and travelling and preaching
Church pastors who are friends from conferences
Those pastors go and visit each other's congregations
It reminds me of a teacher teaching their colleague's class
This is not such a bad idea.
Sometimes a message which is difficult to receive by the pastor
Could be better received from a guest.

What do you think?

Some of these exchanges highlight movements - or trends in churches.

Ideally, what you want to show are the Ecclesia - movements of what God is doing.

Psalm 81 Choosing to Not Listen

Psalms 81 Bold is mine.

1. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

2. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

3. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

4. For this [was] a statute for Israel, [and] a law of the God of Jacob.

5. This he ordained in Joseph [for] a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: [where] I heard a language [that] I understood not.

6. I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

7. Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

8. Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

9. There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

10. I [am] the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

11. But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

12. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: [and] they walked in their own counsels.

13. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, [and] Israel had walked in my ways!

14. I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

15. The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

16. He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

Extension: Please study verse 10 in one of the bible study tools on the page tabs. Here's the verse: Psalm 81: 10.   Derek said the infilling of the Holy Spirit required people to open their mouths and breath in. With Jesus as both bread and drink, I think the people were supposed to take in the Holy Spirit. As they refused to do so, they had to rely on their own counsel, instead of the gifting of the Holy Spirit. They were incomplete.   Getting rid of demons is a similar process. After one has taken authority on the demon, and cast it out, the person is to exhale to expel the demon. Or, they are to shake it from their fingertips. People expel the evil and inhale the good.

The filling of the mouth in Verse 10 is both literal and figurative.  I have not yet found the meaning the gifting of the Holy Spirit, but the concept of receiving heavenly blessing is there. Psalm 78 The Doors of Heaven or Open Heaven
Psalms 78

1. Give ear, O my people, [to] my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

2. I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

3. Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

4. We will not hide [them] from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

5. For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

6. That the generation to come might know [them, even] the children [which] should be born; [who] should arise and declare [them] to their children:

7. That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

8. And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation [that] set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

9. The children of Ephraim, [being] armed, [and] carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.

10. They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;

11. And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.

12. Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, [in] the field of Zoan.

13. He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.

14. In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

15. He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave [them] drink as [out of] the great depths.

16. He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

17. And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.

18. And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.

19. Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

20. Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

21. Therefore the LORD heard [this], and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

22. Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:

23. Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,

24. And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.

25. Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

26. He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.

27. He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:

28. And he let [it] fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.

29. So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

30. They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat [was] yet in their mouths,

31. The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen [men] of Israel.

32. For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.

33. Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.

34. When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.

35. And they remembered that God [was] their rock, and the high God their redeemer.

36. Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.

37. For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.

38. But he, [being] full of compassion, forgave [their] iniquity, and destroyed [them] not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

39. For he remembered that they [were but] flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.

40. How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, [and] grieve him in the desert!

41. Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

42. They remembered not his hand, [nor] the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

43. How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:

44. And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.

45. He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.

46. He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.

47. He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.

48. He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.

49. He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels [among them].

50. He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

51. And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of [their] strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

52. But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

53. And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

54. And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, [even to] this mountain, [which] his right hand had purchased.

55. He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

56. Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:

57. But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

58. For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

59. When God heard [this], he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

60. So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent [which] he placed among men;

61. And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.

62. He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.

63. The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.

64. Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.

65. Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, [and] like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.

66. And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.

67. Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

68. But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.

69. And he built his sanctuary like high [palaces], like the earth which he hath established for ever.

70. He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:

71. From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

72. So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.
